Dear chess friends,
We would like to introduce you to the chess events within the Czech Tour series.
In the summer, you can visit Pardubice, where we have extended the deadline for registration without a late registration fee until July 10. The
4-member team tournament will have a record number of participants, with more than 190 teams already registered. In the main grandmaster tournament,
you can look forward to games with top grandmasters, such as Korobov, Pechac, Stocek, Moroni or the Czech representative IM Vykouk. The return to the
hockey arena will also be a great experience.
This will be followed by Summer Prague and the traditional festival in Olomouc, which also includes the Czech Senior Championship.
Below you will also find newly announced festivals for the following autumn and winter. In November, Brno and Hradec Kralove will traditionally take
place, and in January, there will be Winter Prague with a tournament for players 30+ (i.e. born in 1997 and older).
This will be followed by the magical Marienbad with its traditional tournament lineup.
At the end of March, you can look forward to a renewed tournament in the "capital" of Czech chess, Novy Bor, which will be followed by the traditional
Pilsen festival, whose closed GM and IM tournaments will be memorials to Petr Neuman and Stefan Gross.
If you want to find a reason to participate in one of the tournaments of the Czech Tour series, we have
inspiration for you in the form of the experiences of the participants.
The AVE CHESS team wishes you a beautiful summer and holidays at the chess tables.
